Transferring Student Group Ownership

Transfer ownership of a group that is owned by you to another educator. Once transferred, the previous owner can only view the group. The new owner can now edit and delete the group.

 Note

When a student's status is changed to Archived, that student is automatically removed from any associated student groups.

 Permission

To manage student groups, the "Manage Student Groups" permission is required.

 

  1. Click Students
    OW-Students_tab.png
  2. Click Groups
    Student-Group-Click_groups.png
  3. Select the group(s) by checking the box next to it's name.

  4. Under Actions, select Change Owner

  5. Click Apply

  6. Enter new owner's name.

  7. Click Save
